What are the Membership Requirements?
These are the requirements that must be completed to be considered an official member of TSA:
- Paying the $25 fee
- Completed volunteer hours (the number of hours you need to complete depending on whether you compete)
- Compliance with TSA’s absence policy
- You must attend all MANDATORY meetings unless prevented from doing so due to external circumstances
What fees are there?
- 25$ fee to join TSA
- Official TSA shirts (optional)
- Possible Field Trip fees
What are the Volunteer Hour requirements?
- All members are required to complete 10 volunteer hours during the first semester. The second semester’s requirements will differ based on their competition status.
- For those who are competing, they will only be required to complete 5 volunteer hours for their second semester.
- For those who are NOT competing, they will be required to complete another 10 volunteer hours.
- Opportunities for volunteer hours will be provided by the club, but it is encouraged for members to do external community service. Resources will be provided to seek external opportunities.
